West Valley USBC

Walnut City Lanes is one of nine (9!) bowling centers that belong to the West Valley Association of the USBC. In fact, our bowling center was for years the FIRST and ONLY member!

What does the West Valley USBC do?

Your USBC membership fees paid at the start of a season are used to keep your local association functioning. Like making sure of an even playing field with Lane Certification. They also run tournaments, charity events (like Bowling For Veterans) and they keep up to date on the new rules. They even are responsible for handing out awards, and managing our local Hall Of Fame!

The USBC does many things for the center AND the bowler alike, much of it behind the scenes!

Is Walnut City Lanes 'Certified' and/or 'Sanctioned'?

YES! Walnut City Lanes is both a 'certified' & 'sanctioned' facility! That means it is an active and current member-in-good-standing of the USBC, and that your league and/or tournament play will honor and adhere to the rules of bowling.
As well, it also means our lanes have been checked BY THE USBC and are honest and fair to play on, among other things. We are VERY PROUD of this certification and work hard to maintain this status!!
